As previously communicated, Dean Rodney “Kip” Guy has accepted the role of dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. He will be stepping down as dean of the UK College of Pharmacy effective July 31, 2025. Therefore, it is necessary to appoint an acting dean to lead the College of Pharmacy until a new dean can be hired.

The Faculty Senate is putting out a call for nominations to be a member of the President's Council. GR VI establishes the President’s Council to advise the university president on matters important to the university’s success and help guide the university in its missions of teaching, research, service and care. Topics that the President’s Council may focus on include the strategic plan, new initiatives and budgetary priorities.
