After an extensive search for a new director of UK’s Gaines Center for the Humanities, four finalists participated in open forums on campus. Members of the community were invited to the forums and given the opportunity to provide feedback.

Position
The University of Kentucky is seeking a leader to serve as director of the Gaines Center for the Humanities. This individual will provide leadership and direction for the robust opportunities offered by the Gaines Center. The center provides an intensive educational experience in the humanities for students from various majors, serves as a collaborative home to a wide range of faculty from many academic units on campus and offers public programs with and for the university and the wider community.
